So basically at the moment, I’m working a bit more than part time. In a way it’s nice. I like having my mornings free. And I’m lucky that I get to teach the one class of kindergarteners that come to the afternoon session. I took a pay cut when the morning kindergarten closed, but it isn’t too bad. My boss is working on creating a training center to train Koreans in how to use science and social studies and art and music in teaching English. I’d be teaching a bit of that.
I know my contract is coming to an end. I could go somewhere else and earn more money. But I think I’m staying where I am. I like the people I work with. I’m settled in Daejeon. And like I said, I do like doing the part time thing. Right now, it’s what I need.
